Partnership is an important step for you and for F.I.T. Community Church. If you’ve visited for a while and you’re feeling led to be a part of what God is doing here, your next step should be locking arms with us through partnership. Take a moment to look over our process as we ask all people desiring partnership to complete.
In Paul's letter to the church in Corinth, he talked about the Church as a local "body" of believers. A body with different parts and roles, but one united body. Here at F.I.T. Church, we invite people who feel led to join us in covenant partnership to be a part of our body.
Filling out an application kick starts the partnership journey in two ways. First, it lets us know that you are serious about joining our fellowship. Partnership matters at F.I.T. Church, and taking time to fill out an application communicates to us that it matters to you. Second, the information provided is irreplaceable when it comes to developing a real life connection between you and your new church family.
Every person desiring partnership at F.I.T. is asked to sit down with one of our pastors for a confidential, yet relaxed time of fellowship, discussion, and prayer. We believe in fulfilling our role as a church by taking time to find out how we can truly help you in your journey to follow Christ. During this time, we will cover everything from basic information to the essentials for a right relationship with Christ. After this meeting, if you and the pastor are comfortable moving forward in the partnership process, you will be invited to become a partner.
The final step is a public introduction and affirmation before our church family. New partners who have signed and turned in their covenant are asked to join the pastor at the end of any of our Sunday morning services so he can briefly introduce and welcome them into our faith family.
